Alex has been working as a Land Surveyor for Leighton Contractors (Asia) Ltd and contributing his surveying skills and spatial knowledge in several large-scale civil infrastructure projects including The Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link (XRL), Shatin to Central Link Hung Hom Station and Stabling Sidings and Black Point Power Station Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) Unit D1 Project etc.

Alex has a passion for pursuing innovation and thinking out of the box, with a goal to spread and leverage the exciting opportunities spatial and BIM technologies have to offer in AEC industry. He used to take initiative to adopt the use of advanced surveying technologies such as laser scanning and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) and BIM technologies at the early stage of a project in order to facilitate the process of construction. Alex is passionate about raising awareness for spatial and BIM technologies to everyone and aspires to encourage young bright minds into the profession.
